This roadmap is focused on practical Cloud Engineering: understanding a small set of tools well and using them to build real things.
Certifications can be useful. They give structure and they are recognised by employers. But practical ability matters too. Being able to explain what you built, why you built it that way and how you would improve it is what you take into a technical interview and into the job itself.
