Why pay if the teaching is free?

The teaching is free. The structured journey is what you are paying for.

You can absolutely learn from my YouTube channel for free. I will keep publishing complete technical courses and project walkthroughs there.

But watching someone build something is different from being able to build it yourself. KloudSkool gives you a structured system to close that gap.

Learn → Practise → Build → Prove

  1. 01

    Learn

Short, focused lessons in a fixed order.

  2. 02

    Practise

Labs, quizzes and assignments after each topic.

  3. 03

    Build

    Guided projects, then independent ones.

  4. 04

    Prove

    Challenges, assessments and portfolio evidence.

What you get

Everything around the teaching

  • Structured curriculum

Follow one clear Cloud Engineering path rather than piecing together random tutorials.

  • Short lessons

Focused lessons designed to make difficult technical concepts easier to absorb.

  • Practical labs

Apply concepts rather than simply watching.

  • Assignments & quizzes

    Check your understanding.

  • Guided projects

Build real Cloud Engineering projects alongside the teaching.

  • Independent challenges

Now build without following Faisal step-by-step.

  • Assessments

Know whether you actually understand what you have learned.

  • Portfolio evidence

Turn your practical work into evidence of your ability.

Where it leads

Roles this prepares you for

These are the roles that hire for the skills KloudSkool teaches, typically starting at junior level.

  • Cloud Engineer
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Platform Engineer
  • Azure Engineer
  • Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

No course can promise you a job, and this one doesn't. It gives you the skills these roles ask for and the evidence to show you have them.

  2. PractiseComplete Git labs.Branch, merge, rebase, resolve conflicts.
  3. ApplyComplete assignments.Small tasks with a clear expected result.
  4. BuildFollow the guided project.A team-style repo, built with Faisal.
  5. ChallengeBuild a Git/GitHub workflow independently.A spec, no walkthrough.
  6. ProveSubmit against acceptance criteria.Evidence you can show.
Who it's for

Built for independent learners who want a proper structure.

You don't need someone holding your hand. You need to know what to do next, a way to practise it, and proof you can do it on your own. That's what KloudSkool is designed for.

This is for you if:

  • You learn well on your own but waste time working out what to learn next
  • You can follow a tutorial but freeze in front of a blank screen
  • You're working full-time and need something that fits round your evenings
  • You want to finish with work you can show, not just videos you've watched

What's deliberately not included, and why that helps you:

Not includedWhy it works in your favour
Not includedNo live calls to book
Why it works in your favourYou're never waiting on anyone. Everything you need to move forward is already in the module, so you can start at 11pm on a Tuesday.
Not includedNo step-by-step walkthroughs for challenges
Why it works in your favourNo one at work will give you a walkthrough either. Building from a spec and the documentation is the skill employers are hiring for.
Not includedNo monthly subscription
Why it works in your favourNo meter running. Take a month off for a busy period at work and it costs you nothing.
Not includedNo certificate
Why it works in your favourYou finish with something better to show: repositories an employer can open, read and ask you about.
Not includedNo job guarantee
Why it works in your favourNobody can honestly promise you a job. We promise you'll finish with evidence of what you can do, and the rest is in your hands.
Not includedNo daily chat support
Why it works in your favourEvery lab has clear checks and acceptance criteria, so you know whether you've got it right without asking.

Want an engineer's eye on your work? Book a Project Review whenever you're ready. It's there if you want it, never required.

Faisal Abdi
Who built it

Faisal Abdi

Senior Cloud/DevOps engineer and educator.

I work hands-on with Azure, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and infrastructure automation. I built this programme from that practical experience: the tools I actually use, in the order they start to make sense.

I have worked at PwC, SSE, IBM and Queen Mary University of London.

Questions

The teaching on YouTube is complete and will stay free. KloudSkool is the system around it: you learn in a fixed order, practise with labs and quizzes, build guided and then independent projects, and prove your ability against acceptance criteria. You are paying for structure, practice and assessment, not access to videos.

For most cloud roles, no. Employers hiring Cloud Engineers look at what you can build and explain. A degree is still the right route if you need one for a visa, a graduate scheme or a role that requires it. Our degree comparison page covers both sides.

No. KloudSkool is not an accredited certification. You finish with completed projects and portfolio evidence you can show and talk through. If you want a vendor certification, the programme is a good practical foundation for it.

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee that. KloudSkool helps you build real skills and evidence of them. Getting hired depends on many things, including your effort, your background and the job market.

No cloud experience is needed. You should be comfortable using a computer, installing software and following technical instructions. An IT support or sysadmin background helps, but the programme starts from your development environment and builds up.

Yes. Work through it at the speed that suits you. The order is fixed so you always know what comes next.

Yes. Guided projects are built alongside the lessons with Faisal. Independent projects and challenges give you a specification and acceptance criteria and you build them without a walkthrough.

The core programme is self-paced. Personalised feedback, such as a Project Review, is a separate paid service you can add when you need it.

No. The core programme is a one-off payment of £799. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

There is a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. The refund policy has the details.

You will have a set of completed projects for your portfolio. If you want an experienced engineer's view on your work, you can book a Project Review.
